A community for writers… who can’t write?
During one of my (many) breaks of my midterm, I decided to look up communities for writers on Orkut. No big deal, just something where I can read about other writers.
And, one of the communities with the biggest member count has this introduction:
ITS A COMMUNITY BONDING ALL THE WRITERS … WHETHER PROFESSIONAL OR AMATEUR … IF U HAVE SKILLS TO WRITE A PROSE OR POETRY … U ARE INVITED … U ARE A PART OF THE CLUB …
This Forum is All Abt Writers And Writting..Who Know Words hve power to speak for one who cannt speak..power to see for one who dont hve eyes…and can shout for those who hve ear of emotions..
also u can blog abt any news/any event/any issue/anything ..feel free 2 post ..
Just Join This Forum To Express Ur Feeling And Idea cOz “may be u will be kalidas of kal or Shakespeare of coming century”
I thought to myself.. are you f*cking kidding me!?! First of all, if you’re a writer, PLEASE OH GOD PLEASE spell out “you” and “about” and “have” and “to”. Please use proper grammar! Hell, please at least make it seem like you TRIED to use proper grammar. And the spelling!!! Ugh!
I finally joined a Fiction Writers community which looks ok, but still. It almost makes me sick just trying to read that junk! Blah! I wish Orkut had an option to just ignore all communities with a negative IQ, like that.
I’ll be back later.. I need to go pour dishsoap into my eyes.
