So, I spent the last hour working on this image for my webpage. That is, I took pictures of my katana, added the ‘etching’ and all that jazz, and I realize more and more that I suck at anything artsy.

Any ideas on how to make it not suck? Or, should I just give up on the concept permanently? Ideas I have currently is to try and get the text to curve with the blade better and learn how to do transparency…

Edit: You know, I looked at it through my main page (with a black background) and it looks pretty good… tell me what you think. (It looks horrible with a white background)
