Last night we had a freaky windstorm/rainstorm. It only lasted for a few minutes, but it blew down a few of our tents, and even blew another units tent through a chain link fence leaving a gaping hole in the fence and a tent in the middle of the busiest street on base. Also, wind creates LOTS of dust in the air… combine with water you have a nice mud-storm. Think of mud falling like rain. I wonder if this is what we get to look forward to as the rain season is supposed to hit. It also blew all the camo webbing I put on my connex off it, as well as a few boards I use as a roof. Took me a while to redo everything. (The boards and webbing are used to keep the sun from hitting the metal of my ‘house’ at full force. Keeps it cool, more or less…
