On my way home from work… the normal 15 min drive that took about 1.5 hours… I saw fifteen (yes, 15) accidents. 3 of them were vehicle to vehicle (so yes, 6 cars). 2 were where the car flew off the road and slammed into trees or the embankment to the point where they were surrounded by cops. There were like 3 trucks and 4 cars that were just in the ditch but didn’t look hurt. (Ditch or off the side of the road…) I stopped for 3 of them that looked like they just happened. Nobody was hurt that I saw and the three I stopped for already were getting help through cell phones.

And all this for enough snow to turn the streets white. Please do us all a favor and if you don’t know how to stop in the snow, or steer for that matter… GO SLOW! The cops actually stopped me and told me to go idle speeds for some of it (where I saw like 8 accidents in a little stretch). So yea… that was my drive home.

Anyways.. some work/school related stuff. I start school on Monday. I received straight 5’s on my EPR (Performance report for work… it means I can go for BTZ and stuff.) Also, I took a clep test in management and received a 61 (49 was passing) so I did really well. (People at the education office said I blew it out of the water and I only studied for two days!) Yay. I have only 2 more tests to take until I get my Associates degree from the Air Force. That will help with my BTZ as well. (BTZ is below the zone.. where I get my next rank 6 months sooner for those non-military people.)

Anyways.. one bad thing.. I was told I NEED to take two foreign languages classes.. so I might take Japanese from nihongoweb online.. but that would suck. I don’t know.. we’ll see. Maybe I can find someone to tutor me.

And, happily, my laptop was broken but they fixed it. It came back with no working os though. Somehow they managed to screw up my linux install… go figure but that’s ok since I needed to FFR to install windows (and Visual Studio .NET) and I wanted to try out KDE anyways. So far I like it. Now installing Anjuta and stuff on it.

Tina might get a job soon! My friend’s husband works at the local Sleep Inn in a management position and is looking to hire her. That will be nice. Money money money! Sweeeet! She has been treating me so well! I love how she walks me to the door every night as I go to work and she stands on the balcony and watches me drive off. It is kinda the thing that I love to see… very sweet. She’s always a great cook. 🙂 It makes it nice to come home every day. Gotta love that! 🙂 (I love you Tina)

Anyways.. I need(want) sleep so I’m going now. I guess I need to take this quiz before my wife kills me. sheesh.. the things I do for my wife…
