Christmas
Christmas wasn’t too bad. I spent the first part of my day talking to my brother (Eric) who is in Argentina on a LDS Mission. Had breakfast at Nick’s house.. (It’s a tradition.) Aubree showed up and we exchanged presents. Me and Nick got her the Moulin Rouge DVD, and she gave me a leatherbound book, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare.” I’ve been reading it on and off all day. It’s an awesome book! And that concludes all the gifts I received today. 🙂 (I didn’t have money to give much of anything, so I wasn’t expecting anything in return.)
Anyways, after Nick’s, I went over to Tina’s parents house and stayed with her for the rest of the day. We watched a movie (Moulin Rouge) and did a lot of dancing. I was able to meet her dad, and talk a little Japanese to him. I’m actually surprised at house much I understood. That made me feel good. After that I followed Tina from her dads house to her moms house and received the unexpected surprise of her mother being home. (She was in Vegas and wasn’t supposed to return for another couple of days…) So, unsure why they returned early, I came back home.
At home I decided to work on ripping some songs from the Moulin Rouge DVD that were not included on the Soundtrack. So far I’ve gotten them all ripped into a high quality WAV file, and I’m downloading a WAV editor so I can cut non-song parts from them. Hopefully, in just a little bit I’ll have a CD with those songs on it. I’ll prob put them up on my web server for those who want them, so let me know if I should take the trouble to do so. (Or if local people just want a copy of the CD…)
Speaking of CD’s… Daniel got a copy of the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, so I can rip myself a good copy of it. Also, Tina received the soundtrack to Lord of the Rings, so I need to rip that one too. Ahh, tis the season to pirate! 😉
Anyways, I don’t want to wait for this to download so I’m going to bed and I’ll edit the WAVs tomorrow.
Nite nite.
Matt
